Jin, a member of the group BTS, recently looked back on his days as an aspiring actor and shared the happiness and pride he feels as a singer today.

The Path of an Aspiring Actor: Jin was a typical acting student who entered Konkuk University's Department of Theater and Film with the goal of becoming an actor. He explained that his reason for dreaming of acting was the belief that it would allow him to have many different experiences. He has a famous behind-the-scenes story of joining Big Hit after receiving a casting offer while commuting to university.

Finding Greater Joy as an Idol: Although he started as an aspiring actor, Jin stated that he has experienced even more than what he had dreamed of through his activities as an idol. He confessed, "Becoming an idol allowed me to have more experiences than an actor would have, and so the dream of being an actor gradually faded". He added, "Now, being a singer is so lovely and enjoyable".

No Regrets: He emphasized that he has no regrets about not becoming an actor and showed a healthy mindset, being completely satisfied with his life communicating with fans as a singer.

A Future with BTS: Twelve years after his debut, Jin expressed his desire to stand on stage with his members even twelve years from now. He remarked, "I want to perform with the members until it's physically difficult to move," and imagined a future where they tour with their families, much like Coldplay whom he saw in Argentina.
