Takuya faces the truth about his biological father after 20 years... Tearful conversation with his mother

On KBS 2TV's "Men Who Do Housework Season 2," Takuya faces the truth about his biological father after more than 20 years. The episode airing on the 21st depicts Takuya's life in Seoul, where he was known as a "superstar" in Japan, and a day spent with his visiting mother.

In the broadcast, Takuya reveals his frugal daily life by wearing a padded jacket indoors to save on heating costs. On a day without any schedule, while spending time in "unemployed mode," Takuya's mother secretly visits Korea after seeing his show and becoming worried. She visits her son's home for the first time and is shocked by the untidy state of the house. As her nagging continues, Takuya says, "The worst state has been discovered," and leaves the house, creating tension in the studio atmosphere.

Later, the two share a homemade meal and cautiously have a conversation. For the first time, Takuya opens up about his faint memories of his biological father from childhood and brings up questions he has kept buried in his heart for over 20 years. Faced with the sudden question, his mother is at a loss for words for a while before confessing the truth she had kept to herself, shedding tears. Confronted with the shocking fact, Takuya falls into deep thought and is unable to speak, filling the scene with a heavy silence.

The heartfelt day and family story of Takuya and his mother can be seen on KBS 2TV's "Men Who Do Housework" at 10:35 PM on the 21st. Meanwhile, "Men Who Do Housework" will change its broadcast time to 9:20 PM every Saturday starting from the 28th.
