PLAVE will make a comeback with a new mini-album on April 7. According to a report by Sports Seoul on the 23rd, PLAVE is currently in the final stages of preparation. This album marks their first new release in about four months since their second single "PLBBUU," which was released last December.
Since their debut, PLAVE has attempted to differentiate themselves by showcasing their self-producing capabilities. As the members have participated in writing lyrics and composing music to build the team's identity, this mini-album is expected to pursue both an expansion of their worldview and musical completeness.
PLAVE officially entered the global market last year with their Japanese debut song "かくれんぼ (Kakurenbo)." In September, they released the Korean version "Hide and Seek," which ranked high on major music charts.

Their single "PLBBUU," released last year, set a personal record with first-week sales of 1.09 million copies. The title track "BBUU!" ranked number one on Melon's real-time chart, the Hot 100 chart, Bugs real-time chart, and Billboard Korea Hot 100 upon release. The Christmas version of "BBUU!" also excited fans, reaching number one on the Melon Hot 100 chart and the latest charts.
The album's sales performance was also groundbreaking. Despite being a single album with only three tracks, it sold 1.09 million copies in the first week, achieving the second-highest first-week sales for a boy group single, following BTS's "Butter."
PLAVE is expected to showcase an even more expanded musical worldview and completeness with this mini-album. The members' creative participation is anticipated to be more prominent, contributing to strengthening the team's identity. Attention is focused on PLAVE's future activities.
