Han Ji-min on 'All In' set bullying: "We are not robots"... Confesses pain from her rookie days

Actress Han Ji-min revealed instances of power abuse she experienced on set during her rookie days. In a video posted on the YouTube channel 'Fairy Jaehyung' on the 22nd, Han Ji-min candidly shared her experiences. She recalled the difficult atmosphere on the set while filming the drama 'All In,' saying, "I wasn't naturally talented at acting. I was scolded a lot. I cried every day when I got home."

Han Ji-min mentioned the hardships of being a rookie actress, adding, "I thought I shouldn't cause trouble for others. I had never been scolded like that in my life." She reminisced about her role as the young version of Song Hye-kyo in the SBS drama 'All In,' which aired in January 2003. At that time, she suffered psychological distress due to the pressure of acting.

She revealed an incident during filming where a director demanded a rookie actor, "Your tears fell from the right side last time, so this time, shed tears from the right side again." Han Ji-min expressed anger, saying, "Isn't it ridiculous to even have to match the direction of tears?" She explained that she told the director, "We are neither machines nor robots. Director, we are not machines." This statement was made on behalf of the rookie actors.

The video included a scene where Han Ji-min mentioned the year the work was aired, and her lips were pixelated. This emphasized the sensitivity of the incident she discussed.

Born in 1982, Han Ji-min is currently in a public relationship with Choi Jung-hoon, a member of the band Jannabi, who is 10 years her junior. She has attracted attention by choosing JTBC's new drama 'Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women' as her next project.

Han Ji-min also spoke about changes in her personality. She said, "My personality changed a lot after debut. When I worked with my old manager, I was withdrawn. I wasn't allowed to go out late at night or contact other actors." However, after joining her current agency BH Entertainment, she explained, "They kept letting me loose in the wild. They told me to go to after-parties and drink a little," saying her personality changed significantly.

Through her past experiences, she revealed, "I finally realized this is how the world is. When I go out drinking, no one insults me." This reflects the changes she has undergone in her growth process.

After debuting on the small screen through the drama 'All In,' Han Ji-min received favorable reviews for her stable acting in various works such as 'Good Person,' 'Dae Jang Geum,' and 'Resurrection.' Her recent remarks have served as a wake-up call regarding power abuse issues in the entertainment industry.

Han Ji-min's honest revelations resonated deeply with many. She shared the process of overcoming past pain and shaping her current self. This is regarded as an important statement that reawakens awareness of power abuse problems within the entertainment industry.
