Apink's 15th Anniversary Concert Thrills 5,000 Fans... Fans Cheer as They Perform 30 Songs

Apink celebrated their 15th anniversary by successfully holding their eighth solo concert, becoming the first domestic girl group to do so.

Apink (Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Kim Namjoo, Oh Hayoung) held their solo concert "The Origin : APINK" on the 21st and 22nd at Jangchung Arena in Jung-gu, Seoul. This performance, commemorating their 15th debut anniversary, showcased all of Apink's time and history, selling out every seat for all shows. Approximately 5,000 fans attended, and the setlist of 30 songs was presented differently over the two days. The concert's completeness was enhanced by a flawless band live performance.

The concert began with their debut song "I Don't Know." It was followed by various hit songs including "NoNoNo," "FIVE," "Not At All," "Mr. Chu," "Remember," and this year's release "Love Me More." Fans filled the venue with original cheering methods and group singing. Apink showcased outstanding live skills, unchanged visuals, and performances.

Their diverse transformations, breaking away from their pure image, also caught attention. Apink transformed into the boy group "A-Green," which is about to debut, covering "MIROTIC." In addition, in a VCR segment, they dressed up as animated characters from "Rapunzel," "Wicked," "Zootopia," and "Avatar," revealing a surprising charm. The harmony between their original pure idol image and the unique images for fans enriched the concert.

Towards the end of the performance, the members expressed gratitude to their fans. Yoon Bomi said, "Preparing the early debut songs brought back memories. I am thankful to the Pandas who have supported us steadily for 15 years." Oh Hayoung stated, "I wanted to give confidence to the fans, who are the only reason we can continue our activities." Park Chorong promised, "The energy we put into preparing this album seems to have reached the fans. Let's continue making memories with the proud name Apink that we have built together over 15 years."

Jung Eunji said, "Thanks to the members and fans who create good thoughts and habits, I can live as a good person. When I think of Apink, I feel proud and will work hard to keep smiling." Kim Namjoo, shedding tears, said, "We prepared hard for the 15th anniversary concert. I will manage my stamina for the next concert." She added, "We won't let go of Apink's hand, so please believe in our eternity." The final encore stage, "If You Wave Your Hand," ended with a hug among the five members.

The encore stages continued with fan songs such as "Hold My Hand," "Sunshine," and "High in the Sky." Apink confirmed their strong trust with fans and promised to continue active promotions without staying in the past.

Last month, Apink released their full-group album "RE : LOVE" after 2 years and 9 months. The title track "Love Me More" topped domestic and international music charts and music shows. It also became a hot topic through an SNS challenge, proving their all-around hit power.

After the Seoul concert, Apink will continue their solo concert tour "The Origin : APINK" in major Asian cities including Taipei on March 7, Macau on March 21, Singapore on April 4, and Kaohsiung on April 11.
