Singer Younha revealed the production process of her first remake album, "SUB CHARACTER." On the 23rd and 24th at midnight, Younha released two commentary videos about the album on her official YouTube channel. The album includes a total of four tracks: the pre-released "Seasonal Crime," "Sub Character," "Yomra," and "Skybound."

In the commentary videos, Younha and the original artists appeared together to introduce the background and musical world of each song. Miiro, the composer of "Seasonal Crime," singer-songwriter wizu of "Sub Character," and the mixed-gender band KARDI of "Skybound" explained the production stories and messages behind their respective songs.

Regarding this remake album, Younha said, "There were four songs I hoped to remake, and the approval rate was 100%. If other elements had been introduced, the whole production could have been different." About the perfect approval rate, Younha explained, "Since we share the same taste, it felt like neighbors living in the same neighborhood. Perhaps they granted permission because they wanted to help each other."

Younha proceeded with the remake work by respecting the original songs and adding unique interpretations, saying, "I instinctively felt that I was on the same wavelength with the original artists. Even without verbal explanations, I could see the details. I worked with confidence."

The original artists also introduced the messages and hidden meanings of each song. Miiro described "Seasonal Crime" as "a theme that everything we gain in life is precious." Wizu said about "Sub Character," "We added a message that anyone can be someone's main character at some moment." KARDI introduced "Skybound" as "a song that instills confidence that it's okay to be optimistic about the future."

The reactions of the original artists after listening to Younha's remakes were also revealed. KARDI said, "It's ecstatic. It feels like being by the open sea." Wizu said, "Of course, it was very good," and Miiro said, "I felt overwhelmed with emotion. I was happy to see the traces of care and thought put into it."
