The group ATEEZ has proven their extraordinary passion by unveiling the filming site of their 'NASA' performance video, a special gift for their fans.
On the 23rd, the making-of film for the 'NASA' performance video was posted on ATEEZ's official YouTube channel. This video holds a deeper meaning as it was revealed that the members personally requested the company to produce it.
At the filming site, leader HONGJOONG expressed his love for fans, saying, "I personally proposed this because I thought fans might have been disappointed that we hadn't had a performance video for a B-side track for a while". Notably, he revealed his participation in the overall planning, including costumes, makeup, and props. From proposing silver and white-toned costumes reminiscent of spacesuits to using repurposed actual space maintenance gloves as props, and adding silver-point makeup for a mysterious vibe, HONGJOONG's ideas were present everywhere.
The members' hard work also shone through. HONGJOONG showed confidence, stating, "I usually get nervous before a stage if I haven't practiced enough, but this time we practiced so much that I can hear the beat even with my eyes closed". In fact, the members continued their late-night practice sessions until just two days before the shoot to ensure a high-quality performance.
In the video, the members marveled at the set's overwhelming scale, which reminded them of movies like Interstellar and The Martian. During breaks, they showcased their warm chemistry by sharing playful imaginations about space travel, such as "wanting to experience zero gravity" or "looking down at Earth all at once".
Fans who watched the video responded enthusiastically, saying, "It's even more touching knowing ATEEZ personally proposed it," "A perfect performance where you can feel the amount of practice," and "The scale is like a music video".
Meanwhile, ATEEZ continues to steadily expand its influence in the global market through its original world-building and powerful performances.
