Group BTS member Jungkook opened up honestly during a late-night live broadcast. On the early morning of the 26th, Jungkook conducted a live broadcast for about an hour and a half on a fan communication platform with a friend and his older brother. During the broadcast, he said, "February was really busy. Since the comeback is just around the corner, I have to prepare a lot." Jungkook repeatedly emphasized his desire to "talk comfortably."
Jungkook brought up the topic of smoking, saying, "I'm thirty now, so can't I talk about cigarettes? I used to smoke a lot, but I made an effort to quit." He shared his honest thoughts, saying, "When I talk about this, the company goes crazy again." He added, "Getting drunk and talking recklessly is also my personality and my thoughts. I want to talk comfortably without worrying about the company. Of course, this might cause controversy, but that's who I am."
Jungkook also revealed the pressure he feels about his music activities. He explained, "I'm very simple. I usually don't listen to songs well. I listen because I want to do well, and because I don't want to fall behind." He said, "I'm human too. I just want to have fun. How many people in the world can be honest? I wanted to be honest with ARMY," but added, "If it weren't for the company, I would have talked about everything."
During the broadcast, Jungkook was seen making rude gestures and using profanity toward his friend. When some fans suggested ending the live, he responded, "Why do you want me to turn it off? Don't tell me what to do." Regarding this, Jungkook expressed his position by asking, "Will the company say a lot to me?"
Jungkook conveyed his special feelings for the fandom ARMY, saying, "There is no one who can replace you." He said, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to enjoy and be happy in every moment, but the fundamental reason I want to stand on stage and sing well is because of the people who support me." He continued, "I'm not good at speaking well or expressing myself logically and accurately," but emphasized, "Still, I hope this feeling is conveyed even a little."
After the broadcast, Jungkook posted on the Weverse community, "The album is really almost here. Please wait just a little longer. When we come back, I will work really hard." In response to a fan's comment, he said, "Why would I regret it?" showing his conviction. However, the video of the live broadcast has been deleted.
Jungkook was involved in a dating rumor with aespa member Winter in December last year. At that time, a post circulated claiming that Jungkook visited the aespa concert hall while on military leave, and the fact that the two had similar designs of dog tattoos, bracelets, hats, and nail art was cited as evidence. Regarding this, Jungkook's agency BigHit Music and SM Entertainment did not release an official statement.
