Actor Bae In-hyuk delivered a deeply emotional performance as Sun Tae-hyung in episode 7 of the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama "I'll Give You the Universe." He delicately portrayed the wounds and sincerity hidden behind a prickly exterior, solidifying the core of the story.
In episode 7, which aired on the 25th, Bae In-hyuk depicted Sun Tae-hyung's inner turmoil caused by the sudden appearance of his father with reddened eyes and restrained expressions. This scene convincingly conveyed the complex emotional changes the character was experiencing.
Sun Tae-hyung added subtle tension by clashing with Woo Hyun-jin's first love, Park Yoon-sung, over the issue of installing a door lock. He also revealed himself as a strong protector of his family with the firm statement, "I'll take care of the worries, so please stay out of our family matters."
Later, Sun Tae-hyung confided in Woo Hyun-jin about his childhood memories of abandonment. He confessed his past wounds by saying, "I stubbornly believed. I thought if I waited, he would definitely come someday." He also honestly expressed his feelings toward Woo Hyun-jin with the words, "I wondered if you forgot my heart. I'm also here beside my in-law," hinting at a change in their relationship.
Sun Tae-hyung's support for Woo Hyun-jin, who is facing a career crisis, also drew attention. He showed his sincerity through actions rather than words by guiding Woo Hyun-jin to his filming site to receive feedback from actual models. Especially in a sudden downpour, his line, "If you ever have a hard time ahead, just tell me. I can't be your umbrella, but at least I can stay by your side until the rain falling on my in-law stops," added a touch of romance.
Meanwhile, "I'll Give You the Universe" airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:40 PM.
