Jung Seung-je candidly revealed his honest feelings about his past stage on "Mr. Trot." In a video released on February 26 on the channel "PDC by PDC," Jung Seung-je said, "There is nothing among the things I am doing now that I can say I want to do." He added, "If I want to appear on Music Bank, I have to appear on the general public Music Bank. But I can't do that. I want to try being a DJ once, but I can't do that either."
Jung Seung-je emphasized that his musical success was due to luck rather than skill. He said, "I didn't DJ because of skill, nor did I make music because of skill. This is 100% luck. I don't know what I have achieved," and added, "I will see how long my luck continues." These remarks reveal his humble attitude.
He also mentioned his experience during the preliminary recording of "Mr. Trot." Jung Seung-je stated, "When I appeared with Lim Young Woong, Young Tak, and Chan-won, the attitude of 99 out of 100 people was very different from mine. I went there for fun, but they stood on stage risking their lives." He explained that this experience was a huge shock to him.
Jung Seung-je confessed, "So I felt very sorry. It wasn't my place to be there, but I ended up joining. I said I liked music, but I should have rather devoted my whole body and done my best to perform that one song. Just thinking 'this much is enough' was very shameful." These statements show that he feels genuine passion for music.
Born in 1976, Jung Seung-je is currently working as a top mathematics instructor. His annual salary is known to exceed 10 billion won, indicating that he has built a successful career in the education field.
