Group Seventeen has once again sold out Hong Kong's largest stadium. On February 28 and March 1, Seventeen will kick off the 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA' at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium, meeting an audience of over 73,000. According to their agency Pledis Entertainment, all seats for this concert were sold out on the day ticket sales opened, and even restricted view seats were made available, proving Seventeen's powerful ticket-selling ability.
Kai Tak Stadium is known as a venue where legendary British rock band Coldplay, top Chinese stars Lin Junjie and Jay Chou, among others, have performed. Seventeen returned to this venue just five months after their last performance in September last year, setting a milestone as the first K-pop artist to achieve four sold-out shows there.
The 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA' will continue to major stadiums in key Asian cities. Seventeen will perform at Singapore National Stadium on the 7th of next month, Bangkok National Stadium on the 14th and 15th, and Bulacan Sports Stadium in the Philippines on the 21st. They are expected to ignite the atmosphere in each city.
Seventeen has also prepared various offline events. Pop-up stores will be held in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok before and after the concerts, and the official Seventeen character pop-up 'MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY' will take place in Jakarta. Additionally, the 'SEVENTEEN EXPERIENCE,' which covers major city landmarks with Seventeen themes to provide an expanded fan experience, will be held in Singapore from the 2nd to the 8th of next month.
Seventeen will conclude their world tour with encore concerts on April 4 and 5 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Starting in Incheon last September, they toured five North American cities and four major domes in Japan, showcasing their status as 'performance masters.' The encore concerts will also be streamed live online, reaching fans worldwide.
The new song 'Tiny Light,' released on the 27th, is receiving a positive response, ranking number one on the real-time chart 'The Hot 100' of Japan's AWA Music. This song will also be used as the ending theme for part 2 of the animation 'BISTARS FINAL SEASON,' which will be exclusively released worldwide on Netflix next month.
Through this world tour, Seventeen plans to strengthen communication with fans across Asia and further elevate the status of K-pop. They will present new stages and performances at every concert, providing fans with unforgettable experiences.
