Actor Moon Sang-min made his film debut with the Netflix original movie "Pavane." Directed by Lee Jong-pil, Moon Sang-min played the lead role of Kyung-rok, meeting audiences through this film. In a recent interview, Moon Sang-min revealed his interpretation of the character Kyung-rok.

Moon Sang-min explained, "The atmosphere of the film is static, but Kyung-rok is a turbulent character." He approached his acting based on a deep understanding of Kyung-rok's inner self and said that while reading the script, he recalled Kyung-rok's emotions and actions. In particular, he shared his pride in the process, saying, "I performed the bus stop scene alone, expressing Kyung-rok's emotions by shouting."

He mentioned that Kyung-rok's worries were similar to his own experiences. Moon Sang-min said, "I thought my thoughts would become firm when I turned 25 or 26, but instead, there was more confusion," adding that Kyung-rok's concerns resonated with his own. This made him feel greater affection for Kyung-rok.

"Pavane" is a story about three people—Mijeong, Johan, and Kyung-rok—who had closed the doors to their hearts but become light for each other as they face life and love. Moon Sang-min delicately portrayed Kyung-rok, who gave up his dream of becoming a dancer and works part-time as a parking attendant at a department store. He depicted Kyung-rok's transformation as he meets Johan and Mijeong, having lived with an indifferent attitude toward everything.

Moon Sang-min expressed satisfaction, saying, "After the work was released, a friend asked me if the lines were changed to match my tone and speech style, which I liked," indicating that Kyung-rok's lines sounded like his natural way of speaking. This shows his deep empathy with the character.

The film "Pavane" was released on the 20th and met viewers worldwide. Through this work, Moon Sang-min is presenting a new face and leaving a strong impression on audiences.
