An anecdote from Anny's high school days, a member of the group All Day Project, has been revealed. Song Ja-ho, CEO of Pica Project, uploaded a video titled "Meeting of Korea's Third-Generation Chaebols (Real Review)" on his personal channel. In the video, Song Ja-ho reminisced about his time attending high school in the United States, saying that even if international students were not at the same school, they often knew each other.
Song Ja-ho mentioned his friendship with Anny at the time and recalled having meals together with friends. He stated, "There was no talk about Anny preparing to become an idol," but added, "She's the daughter of Shinsegae. Friends knew about it through rumors but didn't make a big deal out of it." Song Ja-ho was aware of Anny's family background and perceived that she lived better than he did. He added, "No matter how wealthy the international students' families were, how rich could they really be? But it's always the children of mid-sized companies like me who spend the most money."
Song Ja-ho mentioned that he usually paid for meals during school days and expressed his opinion, saying, "The real third-generation chaebols don't have money when they are students." During a conversation with Anny, the topic of the new AirPods came up, and he remembered Anny hesitating, saying, "They're so expensive, I'm not sure whether to buy them or not." When Anny playfully asked, "Oppa, can't you buy them for me?" Song Ja-ho thought, "The really wealthy ones are even more extravagant."
Song Ja-ho is the eldest grandson of Song Seung-heon, former chairman of Dongwon Construction, and works as an art curator and entrepreneur. From 2019 to 2021, he attracted much attention for publicly dating Kara's Park Gyuri. However, in July 2021, he was caught driving under the influence and broke up with Park Gyuri. Later, he was indicted and tried for violations of the Capital Markets Act and fraud related to Pica Coin.
Park Gyuri also appeared in court for the trial and claimed that although she was personally connected to Song Ja-ho and participated to some extent in the business, she was not involved in any illegal coin operations or market manipulation. This caused controversy. Song Ja-ho's remarks reveal various social relationships he experienced along with anecdotes from his high school days.
