
KBS 2TV music talk show 'The Seasons - 10CM's Ssedam Ssedam' invited Yangpa, Park Jae-jung, Lee Young-ji, and Daymon's Ear on the February 27th broadcast to present a variety of stages.
Yangpa, appearing on a late-night music talk show for the first time in 14 years, led the audience in a sing-along with her debut song 'Aesongi's Love.' She revealed the secret to her improved singing skills, saying, "My vocal cords are weak, so I focus mainly on image training and actually don't use my throat much." She then delivered high-quality live performances of many hits including 'A'D DIO,' 'Love.. What Is That,' and 'Marry Me.'
Yangpa shared that during the production of her 6th full album Part.1 'Homecoming,' released last year after 18 years, she personally gave a presentation for the production support project of the Korea Creative Content Agency. She revealed that she attended the presentation with a cast on her ankle and crutches due to an injury. She created a warm atmosphere on stage by performing the track 'Beautiful Boy.'
Park Jae-jung, who was discharged from the military last November, showed a disciplined appearance in his first appearance on 'The Seasons.' He disclosed his recent situation, saying, "I sang 'Don't Say Break Up' about 200 days out of 365, which caused vocal cord nodules and muscle tension dysphonia," and that he has been going to the hospital and vocal academy since his discharge. Park Jae-jung expressed confidence, saying, "I came back sharpening my skills as if preparing for a concert." True to his background as a military band brass player, he also delivered a passionate trumpet performance.
Park Jae-jung introduced the new song 'Just Like This Now,' a duet with NMIXX Seol Yoon. He explained, "Seol Yoon's video singing 'Don't Say Break Up' became a hot topic on YouTube, which led to proposing a duet to JYP and making it happen." Park Jae-jung held a challenge with 10CM for 'Just Like This Now,' competing in push-ups and octave battles. He then premiered the new song stage for the first time with a choir he personally hired.
Former MC Lee Young-ji performed consecutive stages of 'Not Sorry,' 'Day Night,' and 'Small Girl.' She showed concert-like stage manners by running into the audience. Returning after one year since the end of 'Lee Young-ji's Rainbow,' she said, "This place is actually my home," and engaged in a playful MC title rivalry with 10CM. 10CM said, "Among all the former MCs, she is the most uncomfortable," but also "the MC I liked the most." Lee Young-ji boasted the title of 'youngest MC' and exchanged provocations and responses with 10CM.
Lee Young-ji proved her genius in her main profession by delivering a storm of rapping live on site, as the winner of Mnet's 'Show Me The Money' Cypher. 10CM evaluated her as "the coolest 25-year-old I know." Lee Young-ji premiered her new song 'ROBOT' on 'The Seasons' after 1 year and 8 months.
Daymon's Ear, the 17th protagonist of the indie 30th anniversary grand project 'Life Music,' is a singer-songwriter who ranked first in Spotify K-Indie and Rock streaming last year. He performed the stage of 'yours.' Daymon's Ear represented the voices of indie artists, saying, "I don't want to be famous, but I want my music to be known." He said 'yours' was "the song I made with the least stress." Explaining why he wrote all the lyrics in Korean, he said, "Because I don't think as an artist in English." He introduced a lyric from 'josee!' he wrote, "We kiss as if it's the last time, let's not grow old," and performed an impromptu live. Daymon's Ear left a deep impression by singing 'To the Lover Who Didn't Die.'
At the end of the broadcast, 10CM announced the season finale of 'The Seasons - 10CM's Ssedam Ssedam,' saying, "We have been together for six months, and next week's final episode is prepared as a special Friday night."
