Singer Young Tak attracted fans' attention by revealing photos from his school days. On January 26, a video titled "I said I'd just take one lap... ended up taking three laps at Yongmun Market FLEX" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'ParkYoung Tak'. In the video, Young Tak talked about his school days while having a meal with the production team.

When asked by the production team, "Were you a model student during your school days?" Young Tak replied, "I am really far from the word 'delinquent'." He explained his past by saying, "I was a student council officer in elementary, middle, and high school. I was also the class president throughout middle school." Young Tak added, "I was supposed to run for student council president in my senior year, but a close friend wanted to run and asked for my support. So I decided to stop my last challenge because of him."

Young Tak also mentioned his hairstyle during high school. He said, "My hair was long in high school. It was the SG Wannabe hairstyle that was popular at the time," showing old photos. When the production team responded, "You don't seem like a model student," Young Tak emphasized, "This hairstyle was trendy back then," asserting that he was still a model student.

Young Tak shared an episode related to the school president election. He said, "It was my turn to run for school president in my senior year, but a close friend wanted to enter college through a special admission and asked me to give way. I made him promise that if he failed, he would be my 'sidekick' for life. In the end, he lost and is still taking care of me," which brought laughter to the scene.

Since debuting as an R&B singer in 2007, Young Tak has actively continued his career after switching to trot in 2016. He gained explosive popularity after winning second place on TV Chosun's 'Tomorrow's Mr. Trot'.
