Group TWS member Dohun celebrated the 1st anniversary of MBC's 'Show! Music Core' broadcast. On February 28, Dohun posted a message saying "Music Core MC 1st anniversary" on TWS's official Instagram and "Music Core 1st anniversary congratulations" on Weverse, along with a fireworks emoji. The released photos show Dohun striking various poses for fans in the 'Show! Music Core' waiting room. Dohun added significance by wearing the same outfit as his first broadcast on that day.
Fans congratulated Dohun on his 1st anniversary with comments such as "Congratulations, you worked hard, Ttoi! (Dohun's nickname)", "Congratulations on 1st anniversary as Music Core MC!", "Dorungi (Dohun's nickname) is the best", "Dohun Core is the best", and "Congratulations on 1st anniversary as MC". After the main broadcast ended that day, Dohun successfully finished the pre-recording with MC Kim Gyubin. The two are scheduled to perform a special stage on 'Show! Music Core' airing on White Day, March 14.
Dohun was selected as the new face of 'Show! Music Core' starting from the broadcast on March 1 last year. He served as a source of energy for the program for a year. Keeping his initial aspiration from the first broadcast to "continue showing good sides," Dohun received high praise from many viewers for his steadily improving hosting skills, wit, and visuals. He was nominated for the Rookie Award at the 'MBC Entertainment Awards' held on December 29 last year.
TWS sparked a nationwide 'Angtal boom' through activities for the title track "OVERDRIVE" from their fourth mini-album 'play hard' released last October. On February 9, they released the single "Today We Met Again," which expresses TWS's unique refreshing energy with a winter sensibility. The Korean version of their Japanese debut single title track "Nice to see you again" (Japanese title はじめまして / Hajimemashite), released last July, entered the Melon TOP 100 chart at number 65 on the day of release. By midnight that day, it rose 25 places to settle at number 40. This is TWS's highest ranking on the day of release.
TWS is preparing for a comeback. They are set to premiere their first VR concert 'RUSH ROAD' on March 4. Following that, from March 27 to 29, they will hold their second official fan meeting '42:CLUB' at the Ticketlink Live Arena (Handball Gymnasium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Additionally, fan meetings will be held on April 8 and 9 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
