The late Park Boram suddenly passed away on April 11, 2024, during a drinking gathering with acquaintances. At the time, Park Boram was drinking at the home of acquaintance A in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and was found collapsed after going to the bathroom. According to the police, Park Boram collapsed around 9:55 p.m., and police and firefighters found her around 10 p.m. and transported her to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m.

No special external trauma was found at the time of Park Boram's death, and an autopsy was requested by the National Forensic Service. The autopsy results indicated that the cause of death was presumed to be acute alcohol poisoning. Additionally, it was found that Park Boram's health was poor at the time of death, suffering from cirrhosis and fatty liver.
