Actor Park Shin-yang revealed the difficulties he faced while filming the drama "Lovers in Paris." On the broadcast of SBS variety show "My Ugly Duckling" on the 1st, Park Shin-yang and Lee Dong-gun reunited after 20 years. The two talked about the challenges of the shooting schedule and memorizing lines.

Lee Dong-gun praised Park Shin-yang's memorization skills, saying, "Senior doesn't usually carry the script to the set. All the lines are in his head, so there were no NGs due to forgetting lines." Park Shin-yang explained, "I keep looking at the script. Once filming starts, you don't read it, so to keep the details alive, the script alone isn't enough."

Lee Dong-gun picked one of Park Shin-yang's famous scenes, "This man is my man. Why can't you say it?" as the most memorable scene from "Lovers in Paris." He recalled, "We filmed that scene all night at a hotel. After it ended, I was smoking in front of the lobby when senior came out behind me and said, 'Give me one too. I want to smoke one today.' I remember smoking at dawn as the sun was rising."

Heo Kyung-hwan mentioned their famous lines, "Baby, let's go" and "You're in here," asking, "Did you think this would become popular during filming?" Park Shin-yang replied, "I was sweating cold sweat a lot," and Lee Dong-gun confessed, "I wondered if I really had to say this. As soon as I saw the script, I doubted if I had to say it. I suffered a lot when I got the script." Heo Kyung-hwan asked, "Don't people in Seoul use expressions like that?" Lee Dong-gun responded, "Even people in Seoul don't say that," causing laughter.

Park Shin-yang also revealed that he was injured during the filming of "Lovers in Paris." He said, "Actually, I filmed the entire 'Lovers in Paris' in a daze." This was due to a back injury, and he explained that he had to lie down almost all the time outside of filming. Park Shin-yang added, "I was dazed during filming because of painkillers." He said, "Outside of filming, I was on crutches. One day, I had to pick up the receiver and bring it to my ear, but I couldn't. So I urgently called an ambulance. After surgery, when I woke up, the CP in charge of 'Lovers in Paris' was in front of me. He said, 'Park Shin-yang, you have to get up. The whole nation is waiting.' He felt more like a devil than an angel."

The reunion of Lee Dong-gun and Park Shin-yang holds special meaning. The broadcast of "My Ugly Duckling" on the 1st showed the two actors meeting on screen for the first time in 20 years. Park Shin-yang appeared as a painter and plans to hold a solo exhibition at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts starting in March. He stated, "I have to move to Sejong Center soon. I rented a large warehouse here in Andong and built it to the same size as Sejong Center." The set prepared in Andong will be moved to the main exhibition hall in Seoul.

Upon seeing Park Shin-yang, Lee Dong-gun expressed surprise, saying, "You haven't changed at all," and Heo Kyung-hwan admired the two-shot after 22 years, saying, "This shot is crazy." Park Shin-yang responded, "It's really been a long time," and Lee Dong-gun recalled, "Thinking back, the last time we saw each other was briefly at an awards ceremony almost 10 years ago." Their reunion became an opportunity to reminisce about the memories of the drama "Lovers in Paris."
