WOOZI, the musical root and core producer of the group SEVENTEEN, has proven his overwhelming musical achievements and the stature that comes with them.
Appearing on the popular web variety show Salon Drip 2 on the YouTube channel "TEO," WOOZI and HOSHI shared sincere stories about SEVENTEEN’s past decade and their music production process. On the show, the undeniable presence of "Producer WOOZI" was particularly noteworthy.
It was revealed that WOOZI currently has nearly 200 songs registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association, sparking admiration. HOSHI, who appeared alongside him, expressed deep trust and respect for WOOZI, saying, "WOOZI doesn't need to go on variety shows or film commercials. His bank account proves his talent". HOSHI even made the audience burst into laughter with a bold confession: "In my next life, I want to be born as WOOZI's son".
In response, WOOZI wittily replied, "I have actually thought about how comfortable my son's life would be," but he also opened up about the pressure and responsibility of being a producer who harmonizes the diverse opinions of 13 members into a single piece of music.
WOOZI’s "generous" character also became a hot topic. Upon discovering that the diamond had fallen out of his friendship ring—a symbol of SEVENTEEN—he coolly dismissed it, saying, "I just noticed it was gone one day." This calm demeanor hinted at his extraordinary composure.
Fans who watched the video reacted enthusiastically, with comments like, "You can always trust the songs WOOZI produces," "200 songs is truly an incredible amount of effort," and "A true artist who possesses both talent and character."
