Unit SeungkwanX Mingyu of Seventeen has reclaimed the top spot on the Japanese Oricon chart. According to Oricon on the 3rd, SeungkwanX Mingyu's first mini album 'HYPE VIBES' ranked number one on the 'Daily Album Ranking' (dated March 2). This album re-entered the chart at number one five months after its release. The agency stated, "The enthusiasm from their performance 'CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY' led to the rise in ranking."

'HYPE VIBES' was released on September 29 last year and has been steadily receiving positive responses both domestically and internationally. The current cumulative sales are approaching 1 million copies. This album recorded the highest first-week sales among K-pop unit albums and achieved the highest ranking for a K-pop unit on the US Billboard main album chart, the 'Billboard 200.'

Its popularity in Japan is also high. The album recorded shipments exceeding 100,000 copies within a day of its release, earning a Gold certification from the Japan Record Association. Additionally, it ranked first on major charts such as Oricon's 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking.'

The 'CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY' held in Aichi and Chiba was conducted over four shows, all of which were sold out. This is regarded as proof of SeungkwanX Mingyu's strong ticket power. Their performances will continue at Kaohsiung Arena from the 24th to the 26th of next month.

Seventeen's new song 'Tiny Light' is also receiving positive responses. Released on February 27, the song ranked first on Japan AWA Music's real-time chart 'THE HOT 100' immediately after its release. It also entered third place on Oricon's 'Daily Digital Single Ranking' (dated February 27). 'Tiny Light' will be used as the ending theme for the animation 'BUSTARS FINAL SEASON' Part 2, which will be exclusively released worldwide on Netflix next month.

Seventeen's activities are further expanding the global popularity of K-pop, and their music and performances are receiving great responses from fans.
