Group BTS will release their fifth full-length album, "Arirang," on March 20. The title track, "Swim," written and composed by RM, sings about the attitude of swimming forward without stopping amid the waves of life. BTS will hold "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" at 8 p.m. on March 21 around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, one day after the album release. This performance will be broadcast live to 190 countries worldwide through Netflix.

HYBE released the trailer video and poster for "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" on their official SNS at 9 a.m. on March 5. Netflix also announced the same poster and video on their channel. In the video, BTS members expressed their heartfelt feelings to fans, showing how much they truly missed them. RM said, "I promised the fans that we would definitely come back," adding, "I believe the seven of us can continue walking the path together and keep swimming forward." V said, "I felt that each and every thing has changed."

The trailer video begins with fans' cheers at a past concert and continues with scenes alternating between day and night at Gyeongbokgung Palace, accompanied by RM's narration, "I promised the fans that we would come back." The phrases "THE WORLD'S BIGGEST BAND IS BACK" and "WITNESS THE HOMECOMING" appeared, raising anticipation.

News of BTS's comeback sparked great excitement among fans. The released post received over 1.4 million reactions on X (Twitter) within 21 hours. The Latin America Netflix official account posted the message, "ARMY, the moment has come," which received 102,000 likes. The tweet with the trailer video released by Netflix garnered 193,000 likes.

Fans expressed their excitement about BTS's comeback, with a tweet saying, "If the seven are together, we can do anything," receiving over 110,000 likes. Another fan responded, "The first group in history to make a full comeback after military service. Legend," gaining explosive sympathy.

BTS's new song "SWIM" conveys the attitude of swimming forward amid the waves of life and expresses the will to overcome the rushing flow at their own pace. The album title "Arirang" originates from a traditional Korean folk song symbolizing longing and endurance after parting.

The comeback performance will be directed by Hamish Hamilton, who will present a stage befitting a global event. Hamish Hamilton previously directed the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony and the U.S. Super Bowl halftime show.

BTS's comeback live is Netflix's first live event broadcast from Korea to the world and the first music performance Netflix has ever streamed. BTS's return holds great significance for fans, and anticipation for their new journey is rising.
