Felix of the group Stray Kids has been appointed as an honorary ambassador to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic relations. On the 5th, the Embassy of France in Korea held a press conference at the Kim Joong-up Pavilion of the French Embassy in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, announcing the selection of Felix and actress Jun Ji-hyun as honorary ambassadors.

The embassy explained the reason for selecting Felix, stating, "As a member of Stray Kids, he has demonstrated strong influence in the global music market and proven his high popularity through large-scale performances across Europe, including France, and around the world." They also added that Felix is "a figure who is expanding cultural empathy between the young generations of Korea and France with his unique personality and international recognition."

Felix is expected to attend major cultural events commemorating the 140th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic relations, helping to widely promote the purpose and expand connections with the public. Through his role as an honorary ambassador, he is anticipated to share the significance of the 140th anniversary with future generations and showcase the vitality of human, artistic, and cultural exchanges.

Felix expressed, "Various cultural and artistic events are scheduled in Korea throughout this year, so I ask for your great interest and participation." Stray Kids have shown remarkable achievements in France so far. In July 2023, they became the first K-pop artist to headline at 'Lollapalooza Paris,' delivering a memorable performance. In 2024 and 2026, they are scheduled to attend the 'Yellow Coin Collection Charity Event' hosted by the First Lady of France.

Notably, in July 2025, they will hold a solo concert at Stade de France as part of their world tour 'dominATE,' attracting 120,000 attendees and setting the record for the largest K-pop concert to date. These accomplishments serve as evidence of Felix and Stray Kids' global popularity.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their sixth official fan meeting, 'STAY in Our Little House,' at Inspire Arena in Incheon on March 28 and 29, and April 4 and 5. This fan meeting is organized to strengthen communication with fans and to show appreciation for their love. On the last performance days of each week, March 29 and April 5, offline concerts will be held alongside simultaneous paid online live broadcasts on Beyond LIVE.

Felix's appointment as honorary ambassador is expected to further activate cultural exchanges between Korea and France. Stray Kids will solidify their position in the global music market and contribute to promoting Korean culture and arts worldwide by participating in various cultural events.
