Conflict between 2NE1 members Sandara Park and Park Bom has surfaced through social media. On the 5th, Sandara Park posted on her SNS, "I have never used drugs. I hope she stays healthy." This is interpreted as a direct rebuttal to the drug use allegations raised by Park Bom. It is also reported that Sandara Park unfollowed Park Bom's SNS account afterward. The controversy began with a handwritten post Park Bom uploaded on her SNS. She mentioned a past Adderall import case, stating, "That is not a drug. I am just an ADHD patient." She also added a statement claiming, "Sandara Park was caught for drugs and used me to cover it up." In this post, Park Bom mentioned names such as YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and CL, but the post was later deleted.

Sandara Park issued a statement directly one day after Park Bom's allegations. She emphasized her innocence and attended official schedules without any disruption. On the 6th, Sandara Park appeared with a bright expression in front of reporters at a brand event held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Among fans, past anecdotes of the two are being revisited. A video from a past music video shoot was shared on online communities. The video shows Park Bom cheering up Sandara Park, who was upset because the choreography was not going as planned, with a cheerful dance.

Park Bom has been on hiatus due to health issues since August last year. At that time, her agency stated that sufficient rest was necessary based on medical staff's judgment. On the 3rd, Park Bom posted a handwritten note on her SNS mentioning Adderall, saying, "I'm going to talk about something cautious and scary." She added, "If I talk about it again in the news, it might be a path to ruin." Adderall is a psychotropic drug containing amphetamine, and Park Bom's import of this drug from the U.S. to Korea in 2010 became known in 2014, causing controversy.

Park Bom revealed, "I was dead at that time. But I am speaking up with courage," and stated that she is an ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) patient. She claimed, "Park Sandara was caught for drugs and made Park Bom a drug addict to cover it up." In this post, Park Bom mentioned several people by name, including Sandara Park, and wrote, "Please don't report to the country that Park Bom used more drugs than the prescribed amount when she hasn't used any drugs for almost 30 years."

Park Bom's post was deleted about three hours later but spread through online communities and SNS, leading to demands for Sandara Park's explanation.
