
On the broadcast of MBC variety show "I Live Alone" on the 6th, the daily life of Billy Tsuki, who has been living in Korea for 10 years, was revealed. This episode was the fourth special edition titled "Let's Run." Tsuki has been living alone for two years and said that he is afraid of ghosts, so he sleeps with the lights on. Until last year, he lived in another house for about a year and a half and has been living in his current home for five months.
Tsuki has been in Korea for 10 years. He lived in a dormitory for eight years and started living alone two years ago. He wanted a house with separate bedroom and living room, and said he chose his current home because it met those conditions. His bedroom is decorated in pink, which he said is his favorite color. On the other hand, the living room is decorated in black, which caught attention. Tsuki said he likes the living room the most and that the dark space makes him feel comfortable. He used a black sofa, table, and curtains, and said he painted the white TV black himself.
Every morning, Tsuki takes a walk for 30 minutes to an hour while watching Korean movies. He sets the subtitles to Korean to study the language. When asked about his Korean study, he answered, "I cut off contact with my parents. I tried not to use Japanese for about six months. I memorized 30 words a day and took tests every week," which surprised many. He first came to Korea at the age of 12 and studied Korean on his own without knowing any Korean. He explained that it took six months before he could hold everyday conversations.
Jun Hyun-moo was impressed by Tsuki's effort and said, "You're still working hard. It makes me reflect." Lee Jung acknowledged his effort, saying, "With that attitude, you can't help but learn Korean." Tsuki's method of studying Korean touched many people, and his determined learning attitude left a strong impression on viewers.
