Actor Kim Min has joined the ranks of actors with over 10 million viewers through the film "A Man Living with the King." The movie, featuring Kim Min, surpassed 10 million viewers on March 6, continuing its box office success. Kim Min left a strong impression on the audience by enhancing the immersion of the story as Eom Tae-san, the son of Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), the village chief of Gwangcheon-gol.

"A Man Living with the King" is set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457 and tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily exiles himself for the revival of the village and a young former king who was dethroned. Eom Tae-san, played by Kim Min, is a bright character who was able to learn the Thousand Character Classic and Elementary Learning at a young age. Due to poverty, he gives up the civil service examination and devotes himself to archery, showing a maturity beyond his years. Additionally, when the retired king Lee Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon) ignores the villagers' sincerity, Tae-san boldly confronts him, highlighting the character's presence.

Kim Min took on a historical drama for the first time with "A Man Living with the King." To deepen his immersion in the character, he conducted multiple script readings before filming to find the appropriate tone for his lines. He also paid close attention to visual details to portray a character from that era, such as lowering his usual fair skin tone and adding scar makeup.

"A Man Living with the King" is the third collaboration between Kim Min and director Jang Hang-jun, following "Rebound" and "The Killers." Building on the trust developed through previous projects, Kim Min showcased his deepened acting skills and stable character portrayal, firmly establishing his presence on screen.
