Lee Chan-won passionately sang for 197 minutes in Gwangju... Opening the nationwide tour 'Changa'

Singer Lee Chan-won's nationwide tour concert in Gwangju was successfully completed. The performance took place at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center Multipurpose Hall in Seo-gu, Gwangju, on March 7 at 5 PM and March 8 at 3 PM. This concert is part of the newly launched nationwide tour following the 2024 Lee Chan-won concert 'Changa.'

The show lasted approximately 197 minutes, beginning with Lee Chan-won performing the title tracks "Today Somehow" and "Going to Meet You" from his second full-length album 'Brilliant (燦爛),' released last October. The stage was decorated with grand band sounds, lasers, and lighting performances, and when Lee Chan-won appeared on the central stage riding a lift, the audience erupted in enthusiastic cheers.

Lee Chan-won expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you to everyone who came to the Gwangju performance." He then sang Nam Jin's "Sangsa Flower" and Na Hoon-a's "Am I Going?" consecutively, drawing great responses from the audience. Following that, he performed Cho Yong-pil's "That Winter's Teahouse" and Lim Ju-ri's "Applying Lipstick Thickly," evoking nostalgic emotions among the crowd.

Lee Chan-won continued with songs from his new album 'Brilliant,' including "You and I Falling Like Leaves" and his upbeat track "First Love," followed by Cho Yong-pil's "Forgotten Love" and Jeon Young-rok's "Paper Crane." He also offered a unique pleasure through his well-known wedding congratulatory song "October Poem" and the new song "Shining Star."

The concert proceeded with an emotional stage. Lee Chan-won conveyed deep feelings by singing "Mother's Spring Day" and "Flower-like Day." As the show neared its end, he raised the audience's excitement to its peak with "I Must Not Forget" and "Tess Hyung!"

In the "Adult Sensibility Retro Medley," he showcased his seasoned stage manners with songs including "First Feeling," "New Love Hill," "Love," "Older Brother," and "You Are My Man." He introduced each band member he performed with, expressing his gratitude. Then, accompanied by daegeum (Korean bamboo flute) music, he passionately sang "Mother," and closed the concert with the traditional Korean-style songs "Sseurirang" and "Jinttaebaegi."

To create precious memories with his fans, Lee Chan-won took photos before concluding the main performance with "Rock and Roll Life," a track from his new album. Responding to the fans' enthusiastic encore requests, he heated up the venue once again by singing a sing-along medley composed of the top five songs fans wanted to hear on New Year's Day.

Starting fittingly with a Gwangju medley, the encore included "Hwagejangteo," "Tears of Mokpo," "Namwon's Sorrow," "Rainy Honam Line," and "Southbound Train." The encore medley featured "Don't Tackle Me," "Naejangsan," "Today Is the Youngest Day," and "Because I Am a Man." The performance continued with encore after encore medleys, eliciting fervent cheers from the audience.

Finally, Lee Chan-won closed the Gwangju concert by singing "Sijeol Inyeon (時節因緣)." Lee Chan-won's nationwide tour concert will continue to cities including Daejeon and Seoul.
