On March 8, Freesia shared a daily vlog on her YouTube channel 'THE Freesia' and made such remarks. She said, "My boyfriend uses a Galaxy? I kind of dislike it," revealing her personal preference regarding Galaxy usage.

Freesia added, "My parents also use Galaxy phones. But parents and boyfriends are different, right?" Imagining a situation where her boyfriend films her with a Galaxy, she said, "That would be so annoying." She also mentioned the difference in photo quality between Galaxy and iPhone, claiming, "The photo quality of Galaxy and iPhone is different." These comments sparked controversy among netizens.

Some netizens criticized Freesia's remarks, saying, "They were careless comments," "Preferences should be respected, but the expression should have been softened," and "What did Galaxy do wrong?" On the other hand, there were positive opinions that she was freely expressing her personal taste.
