HARU and SEITA, members of the group NEXZ, showed off their relatable charms by sharing "bittersweet" memories of secretly eating food when they couldn't endure the hunger during their trainee days.

In the video "[NEX2U] EP.07 HARU x SEITA," released on NEXZ's official YouTube channel on the 9th, HARU and SEITA sat down to share sincere stories they hadn't told before. In particular, anecdotes from when the two were trainee peers (starting six months apart) caught viewers' attention.

In the video, the two picked "secret mukbangs" as their most memorable moment from their trainee days. HARU started by saying, "We used to eat food in secret because we were so hungry back then, didn't we?" SEITA chimed in, saying, "We really ate a lot in secret," as they recalled the desperate(?) situation at the time.

As trainees required to maintain strict self-management, the two had to consume food secretly while mindful of the company's eyes. HARU revealed a "perfect crime" anecdote that drew laughter: "When the company told us to go to the gym, we would just go in the morning, do nothing, and come back." He added that after returning, they would act as if they had worked out hard by eating only chicken breast to look peaceful.

Although it was a difficult time fighting off hunger, both agreed that their deep friendship today was possible because of those days. SEITA revealed that the period was when they began sharing their deepest concerns, saying, "It was very hard back then, but I think it was peaceful because we could talk a lot."
