The global band hrtz.wav, affiliated with Kakao Entertainment, will officially debut on April 8 with their first mini-album, "The First Wave."

Kakao Entertainment announced that hrtz.wav will release their first mini-album, "The First Wave," at 6 PM on April 8 and begin full-scale music activities. On March 11 at midnight, they revealed the debut album title and the first concept photo on their official SNS. The photo features the silhouettes of the five members—Yoon Youngjun (keyboard), Rian (vocal), Dane (bass), K-Ten (guitar), and Hagiwa (drums)—against a blue gradient background, signaling a powerful start. The image symbolically expresses the explosive energy and tension just before the artists reveal themselves to the world for the first time.

hrtz.wav is a band composed of members who ranked first in their respective positions on Mnet's global band-making survival show, "Still Heart Club." The members showcased outstanding musical skills and unique stage manners during the survival program. The five members will unite as a team to create a complete band synergy. The band name represents a new wave of music reflecting youth. They plan to establish their presence in the global music market with fresh energy and authentic sound.

The musical individuality and style of each member also draw attention. Yoon Youngjun leads the band's stable sound with delicate playing, maintaining the team's balance. Rian drives the band's sound with a distinctive tone and wide expressive range. Dane adds depth to the sound with solid rhythm and a prominent bass line. Their global activities are also confirmed. Even before their debut, hrtz.wav will participate as special performers at "KCON JAPAN 2026," held from May 8 to 10 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. They will showcase their presence on the overseas stage simultaneously with their debut.
