Mingyu, a member of the group SEVENTEEN, brought laughter to fans by raising a cute question about the nickname they gave him.
In a recent episode of the popular content "Cellphone KODE" on the YouTube channel 'KODE,' SEVENTEEN's Mingyu appeared and chatted with an anonymous person while hiding his identity. In the video, Mingyu shared his honest feelings about his nickname, which is used like a proper noun among fans.
Under the nickname 'No. 9,' Mingyu presented himself as a clumsy, food-loving large puppy. Regarding the reason for being called "clumsy," he made people laugh by saying that people just keep calling him that. At the same time, he admitted to his "heodang (clumsy)" daily life, where he often breaks things, bumps into objects, or spills food.
Mingyu also shared an eccentric update, saying that he recently painted his smartphone orange and is now regretting it, though he called it a "piece of art."
CARATs (the fandom name) who saw the video responded enthusiastically, saying, "Being clumsy is Mingyu's biggest charm," "Mingyu, just how many phones have you broken so far?", and "He is the definition of a large puppy."
