Singer-songwriter Potatoi has released his first full-length album, "Orange Courage." The album, which was released at noon on the 13th through various online music platforms, is the first full-length work released under the solo project name Potatoi by Cha Soonjong, the bassist of the band wave to earth.

The album title "Orange Courage" symbolizes the color orange representing youth and courageous steps forward. While the previously released EP "toy" aimed for music handled as freely as a toy, this full-length album serves as a musical business card for the musician Cha Soonjong.

The album includes a total of 10 tracks, featuring double title tracks "90s" and "Joe." The tracklist consists of "Just Like This," "Lion's Tear," "Fairytale," "Round and Round," "Middle Man," "100p," "She Wanna Blue," and "See Ya," among others. These songs showcase Potatoi's diverse genre understanding and musical colors.

Potatoi captured moments from his late twenties to the end of his twenties in this album. It includes autobiographical narratives such as a song dedicated to a departed friend, a song born from everyday life after an overseas tour, a song inspired by a friend's tears, and a congratulatory song for his own wedding, completing an album that best represents himself.

Recently, Potatoi held a solo concert at Hyundai Card Understage, where he introduced many new songs. Among the tracks, "Round and Round," which was regarded as the most maniacal, received the greatest response from the audience, concluding the performance.

Potatoi sold out his solo concert in Seoul within one minute last month. He mainly presents sensuous music based on the indie pop genre, balancing band activities and solo projects to reveal his unique musical color and identity.
