Boy group Nexz(NEXZ) will perform at the major Brazilian music festival 'Rock in Rio.' Nexz will take the opening stage on the 11th day of the festival, held from September 4 to 7 and 11 to 13 (local time) in Rio de Janeiro. This performance marks Nexz's first appearance at a large-scale global music festival since their debut.

On the same day, Nexz will perform ahead of Stray Kids, the JYP senior group, who will be the first K-pop artist to headline the festival. They are expected to announce a spectacular start to the festival and showcase their presence as the 'next-generation performance powerhouse.'

'Rock in Rio' is one of the world's largest music festivals, which began in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and is also held in Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; and Las Vegas, USA. The festival is well known as a stage where global artists such as Queen, Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Muse have performed.

Since debuting in May 2024 with their first single 'Ride the Vibe,' Nexz has stood out in music, performance, and various content appearances, establishing themselves as a 'global prospect.' In February, they ranked number one on the Oricon weekly music DVD·BD chart with a video album featuring the live performance of their first Japan tour, 'Nexz Live Tour 2025 "One Byte"' at Nippon Budokan.

Nexz will hold a special concert, 'Nexz Special Concert "One Beat,"' in Hong Kong on March 28 and 29. Following that, in May, they will embark on their first arena tour and second live tour in Japan, 'Nexz Live Tour 2026,' and will also conduct their first Asia tour since debuting this year.
