Lee Sang-hoon, 60 million won from a year of toys 'Hobby profits surpass comedian income'

Comedian Lee Sang-hoon mentioned the income he earns from his toy hobby. On the March 14th broadcast of MBC's variety show "Omniscient Interfering View," Lee Sang-hoon revealed that he spent 60 million won on toy purchases over the course of a year. During the show, Jeon Hyun-moo introduced Tzuyang and mentioned, "Her annual food delivery expenses amount to 44 million won," then asked Lee Sang-hoon, "Tzuyang can handle that because she earns that much, but how do you manage?" Lee Sang-hoon appeared flustered by this question.

Lee Sang-hoon said, "I run a YouTube channel related to my hobby," and revealed his channel with 580,000 subscribers. He emphasized, "I create content, and my hobby income has surpassed my comedian income." Song Eun-i acknowledged his popularity by saying, "Lee Sang-hoon is like Yoo Jae-suk in this field." Lee Sang-hoon expressed confidence, stating, "Among celebrities, I have the largest collection."

Lee Sang-hoon also expressed his affection for figure collecting. He said, "When I buy figures, I feel full even if I don't eat." Additionally, he mentioned, "Although not as much as Tzuyang, I once donated about 1 million won on Children's Day," and explained, "At that time, the article was titled 'IU, Lee Jong-seok donates billions... Lee Sang-hoon also supports with 1 million won'." He added, "So next time, I increased the donation amount a bit more."

Lee Sang-hoon's remarks show that toy collecting has become an activity that generates income beyond being a simple hobby. He earns revenue through YouTube and is also involved in invitations to comic and movie events. This indicates that he secures income through various channels.

Lee Sang-hoon's story suggests that hobby culture can lead to economic value. He emphasized that his hobby connects to income and that he contributes socially through it. This content is regarded as an inspiring example for many people.

On the show, Lee Sang-hoon shared various episodes related to his collecting hobby, highlighting the positive aspects of hobby culture. Through his experience, he informed many people about the joy of hobbies and the potential for income that comes with it.

Lee Sang-hoon's remarks demonstrate that hobbies can evolve beyond mere consumption to become activities that shape personal identity and create economic value. This is expected to serve as an opportunity to present new possibilities for hobbies to many people.
