Nichkhun, a member of the group 2PM, revealed that he was a victim of stalking. On the 14th, Nichkhun shared on his social media account, "Last night, while taking a walk around my house, I was stalked by someone claiming to be a fan." He detailed the situation, saying, "That person followed me for nearly 30 minutes and cursed at me in Chinese right beside me."
Nichkhun said, "I couldn't go home because I didn't want to drag that person into my house," and added, "So I walked to a nearby police station and asked the officers for help to prevent that person from following me." With the help of the police, he returned home and added, "I was afraid that person would follow me again, so I rode in a police car back home."
Nichkhun issued a strong warning to the perpetrator. He said, "I know who you are and will take legal action," and stated, "You even physically assaulted me." He emphasized, "This is a serious violation of my privacy and safety."
Expressing his discomfort with stalking and obsessive fans, Nichkhun said, "Most fans understand that I want to live as a person with my privacy respected. But those who do not, I do not consider them fans." He warned again, "Do not come again. Otherwise, you will see what happens."
2PM, the group Nichkhun belongs to, is scheduled to hold a full-group concert at Tokyo Dome in May to celebrate their 15th anniversary since debuting in Japan. This concert will be their first full-group performance in about two years and seven months since 'It's 2PM' held at Tokyo Ariake Arena in October 2023.
Nichkhun's confession about being stalked once again reminded everyone of the need to maintain boundaries with fans. It emphasized that respecting celebrities' privacy is a fan's duty. Nichkhun made it clear that he will take legal measures to protect his safety and privacy through this incident.
