Singer and actor Kim Dong-jun returned to the stage of KBS 2TV's "Immortal Songs" after 10 years and proved his outstanding vocal skills by winning first place.

On the 14th, Kim Dong-jun appeared on the first part of the "Immortal Songs" special commemorating the 30th anniversary of the late Kim Kwang-seok and performed "Letter from a Private" with a musical ensemble team. Reflecting on his appearance in his 20s, he said, "It feels new to come back in my 30s after appearing in my 20s." He added, "The late Kim Kwang-seok changed my life. When I was in high school preparing for a song festival, I sang 'Although I Loved You,' and I was cast at that festival, which led to who I am today."

Kim Dong-jun expressed his determination to win by saying, "I want to aim for the last remaining ticket for the King of Kings tournament with the spirit of setting out." The stage that day was prepared by Kim Dong-jun, who is currently playing the role of North Korean elite agent Won Ryu-hwan in the musical "Secretly, Greatly: THE LAST," along with the musical ensemble team. From the gentle introduction to the explosive climax, he showcased a wide vocal range and demonstrated deep mastery.

In particular, the perfect harmony with the ensemble and the grand, cinematic production created an emotional stage. Kim Dong-jun sang a comforting song dedicated to youth and ended the performance with a respectful salute to his beloved mother, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Kim Dong-jun confirmed his skills once again by winning first place in the first part. He shared his thoughts, saying, "It became an even more special day as I won at 'Immortal Songs,' which I returned to after 10 years. I am truly happy to have won by receiving strength from the musical 'Secretly, Greatly' team. I want to share my congratulations and gratitude with all the team members who prepared the stage together."

Kim Dong-jun will continue performing in the musical "Secretly, Greatly: THE LAST" at Seoul NOL Theater Daehangno Woori Card Hall until April 26.
