The humble and cheerful "Mukbang" (eating show) energy shown by the group SEVENTEEN behind the scenes of their world tour has become a hot topic among fans.
A recently released world tour behind-the-scenes video on SEVENTEEN’s official YouTube channel captured the members never missing out on the joy of eating, even amidst a grueling schedule traveling from Austin, Texas, to Washington, D.C..
In the video, after finishing their performance in Austin, SEVENTEEN reminisced that "the passion was as hot as the Texas weather," yet they drew laughter by immediately and seriously contemplating their next menu. The members mentioned specific items like garlic bread and kimbap, showing a friendly "foodie" side that contrasts with their charismatic stage presence.
Notably, when asked to create a poem using the word "Kimbap," the members unhesitatingly shouted, "Kim: Give me a baby, Bap: Bap...taeng-ah," flaunting their signature wit and sense of humor. Their sincere longing for Korean food toward the end of the tour, combined with their playful communication, brought joy to viewers.
SEVENTEEN demonstrated strong teamwork by taking care of each other's conditions and sharing food before and after performances. Even in their final tour city, Washington, D.C., the members encouraged one another to "finish safely and successfully today," while suggesting that the source of the energy they pour out until the end lies in their joyful shared meal times.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the video, with comments like "SEVENTEEN slays the stage and the restaurants," "It’s a relief to see them eating well," and "I’m impressed by their wit in the kimbap poem."
Meanwhile, having successfully completed their North American tour, SEVENTEEN continues to communicate with global fans through unrivaled performances and cheerful content, solidifying their position as both "performance masters" and "communication masters."
