BTS member Jimin communicated with fans ahead of the release of the fifth full-length album 'Arirang.' On the 15th, Jimin shared on the fan platform Weverse, "ARMY, there are only a few days left until the album release. I'm so nervous that I don't know what to do." He added, "I hope you listen happily, and I will finish well to show you a great side. Please look forward to it a lot. I love you."
Jimin revealed a mirror selfie taken in the practice room to communicate with fans. In the photo, Jimin is sitting comfortably with his blonde hair tied back, creating a unique atmosphere. BTS is scheduled to release the fifth full-length album 'Arirang' on the 20th at 1 PM. The new album contains a total of 14 tracks, including the title track 'Swim.' This album is the team's first release in about 3 years and 9 months.
The songs included in the album are 'Body to Body,' 'Hooligan,' 'Alien,' 'FYA,' '2.0,' 'No.29,' 'Merry Go Round,' 'Normal,' 'Like Animals,' 'Day Don't Know About Us,' 'One More Night,' 'Please,' and 'Into the Sun.' BTS will hold the 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG' performance at Gwanghwamun Square at 8 PM on the 21st, the day after the album release. This performance will be broadcast live worldwide through Netflix.
Jimin is gaining attention for his choreography skills that harmonize modern dance and hip-hop. He majored in modern dance at Busan Arts High School and boasts excellent flexibility and balance in his dance lines. To perform high-difficulty choreography, Jimin consistently practices core strength exercises, strengthening his abdominal and back muscles to maintain balance and prevent injuries.
He also manages his stamina through aerobic exercises such as running. Aerobic exercise improves cardiopulmonary endurance, reducing fatigue during long performances. Jimin prioritizes health and prevents injuries through stretching and rehabilitation exercises. He has stated, "I think health comes first." Singers performing high-difficulty choreography are vulnerable to ankle, knee, and back injuries, making stretching and flexibility exercises important.
Jimin also values adequate hydration, which is essential for regulating body temperature, blood circulation, and maintaining skin health. When sweating a lot during performances and practice, it is recommended to drink water frequently to prevent dehydration.
BTS's 'Arirang' album signifies a new direction for the team. This album is the result of long preparation by BTS and is expected to provide fans with a new musical experience. The concert held at Gwanghwamun on the 21st will gather fans from around the world, focusing attention on the safety management of large-scale performances and Seoul's health tourism destinations.
Through this album and performance, BTS plans to further strengthen communication with global fans. Fans are looking forward to new sides of Jimin and BTS, who will continue to inspire fans through music and performance.
