The group NiziU shared the heart-fluttering moment of watching their new song 'Dear・・・' music video for the first time with their fans.
Recently, a video titled "NiziU「Dear・・・」 M/V Reaction Video" was posted on NiziU's official YouTube channel. In this video, the members watched the completed music video together for the first time, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot and their individual character interpretations.
While watching the music video, the members couldn't stop exclaiming, "It's like a movie." Regarding the direction where past flashback scenes of running on the beach in school uniforms alternate with their mature current selves, member Riku showed deep immersion in the story, saying, "It feels like we were high school students at first and then became adults later."
They explained the delicate emotional lines for each member, such as the setting of being comforted by listening to a song through earphones handed over by a stranger on a bus, and said, "It's a story that warms the heart."
In contrast to the heartwarming visuals, the filming site was full of members' struggles. One member shared an episode of filming while fighting strong winds, laughing, "The wind blew so hard that sand got into my eyes, but I'm glad the result came out beautifully." Another member mentioned her character, who tries hard to hail a taxi but repeatedly fails, jokingly asking, "Why am I the only one who can't get on?" making everyone burst into laughter.
Fans who watched the reaction video are showing explosive responses, such as "Hearing the members' explanations makes me understand the music video more deeply," "It felt like watching a youth movie," "Ayaka's taxi scene is so cute," and "The warm emotions of the new song were well conveyed through the members' acting."
Meanwhile, NiziU is accelerating their global activities by showcasing a more mature musical style through their new song 'Dear・・・'. NiziU plans to continue communicating with fans through various contents in the future.
