NEXZ members TOMOYA and SO GEON revealed their deepest feelings for each other in their first one-on-one heart-to-heart talk since their debut.

In the 8th episode of their original content 'NEX2U,' released on the 16th, team leader TOMOYA and member SO GEON appeared to candidly discuss everything from their memories during the audition to their post-debut concerns.

The conversation kicked off with a story about their striking "first impressions." SO GEON reminisced about the first time he saw TOMOYA, saying, "What I remember most clearly is that he had thick lips," filling the room with laughter. He added that while TOMOYA usually leads the atmosphere with a bright smile, he felt a professional charisma when TOMOYA’s expression would turn intense and determined as soon as stage rehearsals began.

Amidst the laughter, SO GEON cautiously shared his hidden feelings. Having seen TOMOYA demonstrate leadership with exceptional skills since their trainee days, SO GEON confessed, "My respect for you is so great that sometimes you feel like a teacher, and I find myself stiffening up without realizing it." In response, TOMOYA showed warm consideration, saying, "I just want you to be comfortable with me, like a friend."

TOMOYA also expressed his unwavering faith in SO GEON. Recalling how SO GEON arrived earlier than anyone else to practice before the Korean training camp, TOMOYA shared that he made up his mind then: "This guy must debut with me. I decided I had to go all the way with him, even if I had to give my all."

Toward the end of the talk, SO GEON’s eyes welled up as he spoke about the pressure of debuting after a short preparation period and the guilt he felt toward others. Upon hearing SO GEON confess that he had even filmed a secret vlog when he anticipated he might be eliminated, TOMOYA offered heartfelt comfort, saying, "Whether you do well or not, seeing you active and smiling is enough for me."
