Huh Anna and Oh Kyung-joo, a married couple, publicly revealed their grievances about each other. On the 17th episode of SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams - You Are My Destiny," they shared their married life for the first time. Huh Anna explained the background of her husband Oh Kyung-joo's transition from a comedian to a self-employed businessman. Oh Kyung-joo, who was active as a comedian in shows like "Gagya" and "If You Laugh, Blessings Come," is currently running a restaurant. He said, "I thought comedy was not my path. When I decided to give up comedy, I felt relieved but also worried about what I should do next. Then I went to a regular sashimi restaurant, and the cooking there felt very attractive. So I became the owner's apprentice and started my own business."
However, Oh Kyung-joo's restaurant is struggling due to a lack of customers. Huh Anna expressed her frustration, saying, "The taste is guaranteed. But to attract new customers, we need to promote it, and my husband doesn't do that. There is a limit with just regular customers." Oh Kyung-joo insisted, "Word of mouth will spread. Promotion doesn't suit my personality." In response, Huh Anna retorted, "You have to know about word of mouth to spread it. This is about making a living; why are you making excuses about your personality?" She also expressed dissatisfaction with her husband's lack of communication. "If I don't start a conversation, my husband would just remain silent. Because of him, I feel like I'm becoming anxious."
The couple's home shocked viewers as it was filled with various trash and items. Oh Kyung-joo said, "When we lived together, it was somewhat organized. But after marriage, it hasn't been going well." He added, "I tried to organize things my way and threw some items away, but my wife looked for them. So I just let her organize on her own." During the broadcast, Kim Gu-ra said, "The husband is a good person," and Hong Hyun-hee added, "Oh Kyung-joo is an angel."
Additionally, Hong Hyun-hee shared an episode from her daily life with her husband Jay-sun. She said, "I once hit Jay-sun on the head with an egg for fun without telling him. He is not a comedian, and he was very upset about getting hit by an egg on a running KTX train." She shared her husband's reaction, "I'm not a comedian. Your excessive behavior is always the problem," which made everyone laugh.
Huh Anna expressed envy toward the couple Hong Hyun-hee and Jay-sun, saying, "I want to become the 'second Hong-sun couple,' surpassing couples like Won Bin♥Lee Na-young and Kim Woo-bin♥Shin Min-a." She said, "Hong Hyun-hee was originally active on her own, but after meeting Jay-sun, their synergy improved, and her sharpness softened. Especially after having Jun-beom and becoming happy, her work has been going well, so I'm jealous."
Hong Hyun-hee attracted attention by appearing in a calm style after her successful diet. She said, "I used to want to get attention with excessive outfits, but now I think about what kind of outfit suits the studio." She also mentioned the reaction to their marriage announcement. "There was no news of dating before the marriage announcement. Because Jay-sun is tall and handsome, many people said, 'Who is she to marry a guy like that?'" she said.
Hong Hyun-hee said the reactions around her changed after having a child. She added, "People said, 'I thought the baby would look like Hong Hyun-hee, but it's cute,' and even said, 'Maybe the womb is pretty.'" Huh Anna revealed honestly, "Hyun-hee unnie softened after meeting Jay-sun. She used to be a tough toad."
This episode also revealed the daily life of Huh Anna and Oh Kyung-joo for the first time. Oh Kyung-joo explained, "I thought comedy was not my path. I started learning cooking because the restaurant I frequented was attractive, and then I started my own business." However, Huh Anna expressed disappointment with her husband's management style. "There are many regular customers, but there is no promotion. No new customers are coming in," she said. Oh Kyung-joo countered, "I think things will get better once word of mouth spreads. Marketing doesn't suit my personality," highlighting the difference in values between the couple.
