Red Velvet's Irene has raised fans' expectations by announcing the release of her first full-length album, "Biggest Fan," and unveiling various teaser images.
The album, officially releasing on March 30 at 6 PM, is Irene's first solo full-length work in about 16 months. It consists of a total of 10 tracks, showcasing a diverse musical palette. Including the title track "Biggest Fan," the album features a wide vocal spectrum covering multiple genres, from dreamy R&B to retro pop.
Recently, Irene revealed teaser images reflecting the album's concept through her official SNS. In the photos, Irene leans comfortably on a sofa with fluffy white and pink rabbit dolls, wearing a floral scarf and patterned outfit, drawing attention with various poses such as pointing to her lips with her finger. Additionally, scenes of her reading a book, drawing, and standing while holding a paper with the phrase "BEST FRIENDS" exude a friendly and calm atmosphere.
Irene has consistently attracted attention not only as a group member but also as a solo artist. Her first solo EP, "Like A Flower," released last year, achieved great success by selling over 330,000 copies in its first week. This full-length album is expected to further deepen her sincere message and musicality in continuation of that success.
Meanwhile, Irene plans to release all tracks from her first full-length album on various music platforms on March 30 and will meet fans through various activities in the future.
