SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' has been officially invited to the 28th Udine Far East Film Festival in Italy. On the 20th, SBS announced that 'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' was selected as a special screening film for the festival to be held in April. This festival is the largest film festival in Europe focusing on Asian content, where film industry professionals and audiences from various countries gather to experience the strength of Asian culture.

This year at the Udine Far East Film Festival, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) established a dedicated section called 'KOCCA on Screen@Udine' to expand global exchange of K-dramas. 'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' was the first invited work in this section. This invitation serves as proof that the originality and Korean sensibility of the work can resonate on the global stage.

'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' tells the story of Shin Yi-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), a "possessed lawyer" who resolves the grudges of the deceased, and Han Na-hyun (played by Esom), a cold elite lawyer who does not hesitate to make any choice to win cases. The drama premiered on the 13th and consists of a total of 16 episodes. From the early broadcasts, the unique worldview combining a fantasy setting of "the stories of the deceased" with a courtroom drama and Shin Yi-rang's cheerful activities have received positive responses from viewers.

The viewership rating for the first episode was 6.3%, rising to 8.7% for the second episode. The production team stated, "The recognition of 'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' on the international stage, where Korean sentiment and fantasy genre elements naturally blend, is largely due to Yoo Yeon-seok's strong character portrayal and emotional expression." They also added, "We hope to deliver emotion and empathy not only to domestic viewers but also to global audiences."

'Shin Yi-rang Law Office' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM. With this invitation, key episodes will be screened on large local screens during the festival.
