The global band hrtz.wav has announced their debut by releasing the concept film for their first mini-album, The First Wave.

On the 20th at midnight, Kakao Entertainment unveiled the concept film through hrtz.wav's official SNS and YouTube channel. The video captures the five members—keyboardist Yoon Youngjun, vocalist Lian, bassist Dane, guitarist Kayten, and drummer Hagiwa—coming together to complete a single sound. Starting with Kayten's first guitar stroke, the members continued the "ignition" of the ensemble in their own ways. After tuning their instruments and setting up equipment, Hagiwa's drums sounded like a signal flare, completing the powerful band sound. The moment the spotlight turned on marked the beginning of their journey as a "global iconic band."

Despite its short length, the concept film delivered an energetic band sound with a strong impact. The friendly yet addictive melody line in the video, combined with the members' performances, hinted at the atmosphere of the new songs included in their debut album. At the end of the video, the phrase "READY TO WAVE. TO THE FIRST WAVE" appeared, expressing the band's ambition and confidence as they prepare to launch.

hrtz.wav will hold a debut commemorative fan showcase on April 8 at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. With a stage focused on live performance, they plan to establish a distinctive presence in both the band scene and the K-pop industry. Following the announcement of the debut album release and fan showcase, pre-orders for the album and applications for the showcase quickly followed, demonstrating high interest. Every piece of released content, including concept photos and films, has received enthusiastic responses from fans for its sophisticated visuals and high quality.

hrtz.wav is a band formed through the Mnet survival show Steel Heart Club. The members secured first place in their respective positions, building a solid global fandom even before their debut.
