Park Shin-yang recently revealed the reason why he is living in a warehouse container. On the 20th, KBS2 variety show "Shinsang Chulsi Pyeonstorang" aired, where Park Shin-yang shared his current situation. The broadcast showed him living in a container located inside a warehouse in Andong. Host Boom raised concerns about Park Shin-yang's situation, suggesting a business failure by saying, "Isn't the situation getting worse?"

Park Shin-yang brewed coffee and peeled apples himself for the production team inside the container. After taking a bite of the apple, he caught attention by using the MZ generation slang, saying, "This is 'Yar.'"

Park Shin-yang gained national popularity with the 2004 drama "Lovers in Paris," but he stopped acting after the 2019 drama "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2." He explained that he suffered a back injury during his acting career, which left lasting effects on his waist, and said, "I started thinking about what I should do now, and then I began painting."

He battled illnesses including spinal disc surgery and hyperthyroidism, and instead of continuing acting, he has been working as a painter for 13 years. The warehouse where Park Shin-yang lives serves as both his studio and exhibition space. He is so absorbed in his work that he said, "I don't even have time to change clothes."

So far, he has completed about 200 paintings, some of which are scheduled to be exhibited at the Sejong Center Art Museum. Park Shin-yang stated, "I found a new path through painting." His artistic activities have continued even after he stopped acting, contributing to the formation of his new identity.

Park Shin-yang's transformation is the result of choosing a life as an artist, inspiring many people. His story is gaining attention as an example that simultaneously shows changes in both art and life.
