Actress Bae Na-ra appeared on MBC's 'I Live Alone,' showcasing her expertise as a solo camping master.
On the episode aired on the 20th, Bae Na-ra revealed that she was on a solo camping trip for two nights and three days. She said, "It's been a week since the performance ended. I came to rest as a reward." As a four-year camping veteran, Bae Na-ra chose a wild camping site with a sea view, attracting viewers' attention by showing her waking up in the tent.
Bae Na-ra once again proved her camping skills by neatly organizing her tent equipment. She introduced a circulator for air circulation and a carbon monoxide detector, saying, "The charm is building another home with my own equipment." Her preparation of equipment considering safety and convenience stood out.
She skillfully cooked beef soybean paste stew and served it with cucumber salad, demonstrating her camping cooking skills. She said, "Usually, camping basics are grilling meat and eating ramen, but experts cook their own meals." She enjoyed her meal while healing in nature.
When panelist Lim Woo-il asked, "Don't you get bored going alone?" Bae Na-ra replied, "Enjoying boredom is part of camping. I like being able to not think about anything." She clearly explained the charm of solo camping.
After the meal, Bae Na-ra set out to find seasonal webfoot octopus by visiting nearby ports and fish markets. Guided by AI, she ran 2.4 km to another fish market but failed to get webfoot octopus. She was embarrassed after challenging herself by crossing mountain paths and rough courses but failed to achieve her goal. Instead, she bought other seafood such as clams and abalone and completed a run on the way back. Kian84 empathized, saying, "It tastes better when you eat like that."
Bae Na-ra's longtime friends visited the campsite, and they ended the day with a hearty dinner together. Bae Na-ra shared the special reason for solo camping, saying, "Self-esteem is important to me. Through preparing and organizing camping in my own way, I think I gain independence and my self-esteem rises."
Having recently finished her first lead role in the musical 'Bonnie & Clyde,' Bae Na-ra plans to continue various artistic activities in the future.
