Singer and actress Nana revealed the untold story of a robbery incident. On the March 21 broadcast of MBC's variety show "The Manager," Nana explained why she keeps self-defense items at her home. The MCs mentioned the past robbery incident and asked Nana questions. Nana said, "A robber broke in at dawn. I was sleeping, but the dogs barked, waking my mom, who went out. The robber threatened my mom and came inside. There was a physical struggle." Nana shared that at that moment, her main concern was to get her mother out quickly.

Nana said, "My mom was unconscious. She was very shocked," and revealed that she spent anxious times unable to enter the house after the incident. She added, "I thought it would be good to prepare for any possible situation, so I started keeping self-defense items at home." In November last year, a man in his 30s, Mr. A, broke into a luxury villa in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, wielding a weapon and demanding valuables. Nana and her mother subdued Mr. A and reported the incident to the police. During this process, Nana's mother sustained serious injuries but regained consciousness after hospital treatment. Nana received treatment for her injuries, and Mr. A is currently detained in a detention center. Mr. A filed a counterclaim against Nana for attempted murder and aggravated assault, but the police ruled that Nana's actions were in self-defense and decided not to prosecute. Nana later sued Mr. A for false accusation. In court, Mr. A admitted to breaking into Nana's home but claimed it was a simple theft, not a robbery.

Nana appeared on a variety show for the first time in 10 years, expressing her affection for "The Manager."
