In episode 4, the story unfolded as the protagonist Shin Yi-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) uncovered the true culprit who drove high school girl Kim Soo-ah (played by Oh Ye-ju) to her death. Shin Yi-rang delved into the truth behind the case, which had been covered up as a simple accidental fall, revealing the jealousy and desire hidden beneath. Shin Yi-rang's relentless pursuit provided viewers with exhilarating catharsis and a profound aftertaste.

Shin Yi-rang persistently pursued the key suspect in Kim Soo-ah's case, composer Go Jong-seok (played by Jung Si-heon). When Kim Soo-ah's phone signal was detected near Go Jong-seok's house, Shin Yi-rang infiltrated the location and caught decisive evidence that Go Jong-seok had stolen Kim Soo-ah's original composition. A scene also showed Go Jong-seok angrily talking on the phone, revealing that someone else knew about Kim Soo-ah's original song.
