HYUI, a member of the group NEXZ, shared his sweet vacation days in his hometown of Osaka, providing fans with a sense of healing.

In a vlog recently released via NEXZ’s official YouTube channel, HYUI took a short break from his activities in Korea to visit his family home in Osaka. Upon arriving home, he joyfully met his dog, 'Meru,' but Meru seemed wary of HYUI’s new blonde hair, causing a wave of laughter. HYUI announced a cute "Operation: Get Close," saying, "I will definitely become friends with Meru during this break."

The main theme of HYUI’s vacation was undoubtedly "Mukbang" (eating shows). From his first day, he visited a seafood restaurant to enjoy fresh Ise-ebi (spiny lobster) and tempura, exclaiming, "The chewy texture is the best." He also showcased a non-stop eating streak, featuring street snacks like dango, deep-fried skewers bought by his father, and chestnuts that reminded him of childhood visits to his grandmother's house.

On the second day, HYUI went shopping in downtown Osaka. He showed his sweet side as an older brother by gifting shoes to his younger brother, in addition to buying clothes and perfume for himself. After shopping, he visited a Yakiniku restaurant—a must-do on a Japanese vacation—where he expressed pure happiness while feasting on beef tongue.

HYUI spent the latter half of his break focusing on resting at home with his family. He recharged his energy with heartfelt home-cooked meals, including his mother's handmade tomato ramen, oil pasta, and a lavish Kani-nabe (crab hot pot) and horse meat sashimi on the final evening. "It's a taste that brings back memories of my family, who have loved seafood since I was young," HYUI shared gratefully.
