[THE FACT | Reporter Choi Su-jeong] As their comeback approaches, PLAVE has recorded 78 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Global Hot Star Ranking of the weekly idol voting platform FANNSTAR, proving their enduring global presence amid strong fan anticipation.
PLAVE secured first place with 2,354,580 votes in the FANNSTAR Global Hot Star Ranking for the third week of March, held from the 16th to the 23rd. Stray Kids ranked second with 939,793 votes, while NEXZ placed third with 577,027 votes.
Meanwhile, PLAVE recently confirmed their comeback through official social media, drawing significant attention. According to the released “coming soon” poster and prologue video, their fourth mini album “Caligo Pt.2” will be released digitally on April 13, followed by the physical album on April 14. The poster, featuring a bold red background and a heavy logo design, hints at a deeper concept and has heightened anticipation.
The Global Hot Star Ranking is a vote where K-pop fans worldwide participate directly to select artists with global influence. Notably, it is linked to the “Global Hot Star Award” at the upcoming 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA), attracting strong fan interest. Since 20% of the current vote will be reflected in the final round, PLAVE—who has consistently maintained No.1—is considered a strong contender.
FANNSTAR provides various billboard support benefits based on consecutive No.1 records. PLAVE has already achieved 70 consecutive weeks at No.1, earning a celebratory screening on the iconic PELE billboard in New York.
Fans are now focusing on the ultimate goal of 100 consecutive weeks at No.1. If achieved, a global congratulatory support campaign will be displayed on the 9TO9 CUBE billboard at COEX Mall in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Meanwhile, FANNSTAR, operated by THE FACT, serves as a platform for fandom culture through idol voting and billboard support projects. Various votes, including the Global Hot Star Ranking, begin every Monday, and fans worldwide can participate.
