Nexon applied the second collaboration event with BTS Jin to its popular online game, MapleStory, on March 23. This event is a follow-up to the 2022 event "Commuter Warrior Kim Seokjin" and was planned under the name "Commuter Warrior Kim Seokjin Returns." Jin participated in the planning process of this event and provides various content, including personally recording the voice of NPC Jin.

The core of this update is the collaboration event "Jin's Mysterious Garden," which runs until May 13. In this event, players collect growth fertilizer to nurture special seedlings discovered by NPC Jin. New items rewarded include "Jin's Hyper Growth Potion," which instantly increases the level by 1 when used by characters level 260–284, and "Jin's Extreme Growth Potion," which can increase levels up to 10 when used by characters level 200–259. Various other rewards, such as "Advanced EXP Exchange Tickets," are also prepared.

The growth fertilizer required to exchange event rewards can be obtained by rolling dice on a board consisting of 40 stepping stones. Users receive three dice once a day and can acquire up to five dice in total. After rolling the dice, users can choose which dice to use to move. The stepping stones on the board include monsters and movement stones, and special dice that can be used strategically can also be obtained.

Depending on the cumulative number of dice used, growth rewards such as "Jin's Extreme Growth Potion" and decorative items like the "Mysterious Garden Memory Costume Set Exchange Ticket" and "Gardener Jinroid Exchange Ticket" are provided.

To commemorate this collaboration, Nexon will offer various collaboration products until June 17. These include the "Jin Handwritten Damage Skin" using Jin's handwriting, new decorative items reflecting Jin's personality, and the collaboration beauty items "Serenade Hair/Plastic Surgery Coupon." Additionally, the new costume item set "Astral Serenade Package," which provides stats, and the "Jin Booster Package," consisting of items that aid character growth, will be released.

This collaboration also marks the 23rd anniversary of MapleStory's service. Through the collaboration with Jin, Nexon aims to provide a special experience for in-game users and plans to strengthen communication with users through content featuring various appearances and voices of Jin.
